Job Summary of Cycle Counter:

The position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory through system auditing, and process improvement. This role ensures the integrity of inventory records by implementing control procedures, analyzing variances, and supporting warehouse operations to optimize material flow and accountability.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cycle Counter:

• Develop and manage inventory control procedures to maintain perpetual-to-book accuracy.
• Report daily cycle count activity and oversee physical inventory processes.
• Identify and resolve system-related inventory discrepancies using daily error reports.
• Collaborate with distribution center leadership to ensure adherence to control procedures.
• Analyze inventory trends, demand, and forecasts to make adjustments and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with the Accounting department to develop auditing and reporting standards.
• Prepare variance analyses and identify deviations from operating procedures.
• Maintain cross-functional collaboration with internal departments to support warehouse effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience of Cycle Counter:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive inventory control or management experience required.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems, control processes, and auditing practices.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication, including reporting and data interpretation.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Willingness to work onsite at least 3 days per week, with occasional overtime and holiday availability.

Salary:

Base pay of $18.50 per hour.
