Job Summary of Commercial Driver:
This job entails transporting cargo safely and effectively over extended distances. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Commercial Driver:
- Drive commercial trucks to deliver goods securely across extensive routes.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle checks before and after journeys to guarantee adherence to regulations and security measures.
- Follow regulatory guidelines to ensure that electronic logs and documentation are accurately maintained.
- Establish clear and efficient communication with dispatch and team members to organize delivery schedules effectively.
- Properly secure the cargo to avoid any potential harm while in transportation.
- Comply with all rules set by the government, state, and the organization.
Qualifications and Experience of Commercial Driver:
- Must be at least twenty-one years old or older.
- Possession of a legitimate Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
- A minimum of six months of documented experience driving long distances on highways is required.
- No SAP drivers.
