Job Duties and Responsibilities of CDL Truck Driver:
- Safely operate large trucks to deliver cargo across long hauls.
- Carry out extensive vehicle examinations before and after trips to ensure adherence to safety measures and regulations.
- Adhere to regulatory standards for maintaining electronic documentation and logs.
- Communicate actively with dispatch and team members to align on delivery logistics and schedules.
- Protect the shipment by ensuring that the freight is securely fastened to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to federal, state, and corporate mandates.
Qualifications and Experience of CDL Truck Driver:
- A minimum age requirement of twenty-one years or older.
- Holding an authentic Class A CDL.
- A minimum of six months of documented experience driving long distances on highways is required.
- No SAP drivers.
